My apology for a long-long absence, I was working on something that everybody would love to know more about – site and blog traffic. Starting next month you’ll enjoy a series of posts on blog traffic and traffic products at unbelievable prices. So, if you did not bookmark this site or subscribed thru RSS, now is a good time to do it.

I promised to publish this report until Taggos Alerts will reach PR2. Last month it DID and this report is the last one. In summary, it took about 3 months to get from PR0 to PR2 with a small effort on my side. I did not post as frequently as I wanted, and somebody more aggressive (more posts and back linking) would have achieved such result in a shorter period of time.

Here comes a time to see what was achieved over a month period. First of all, Google eaten up a complete redesign of the site quite nicely. It was a sharp drop in Google bot visits for 3 days, but then it was back to normal. All other search engine bots seem to not care about a redesign at all. Here is a lesson for you, guys, if you want to or have to redesign your site or blog to make it better – go ahead, search engines are forgiving. However, it’s better to do it rather early (first 3-4 months) and before you begin full-speed link building campaign… Now, let’s get to numbers:

This time of the year is very special as we can look back and reflect on what we have done over the year (and lessons to learn). Each year we become smarter, wiser and more experienced in whatever we do.

I hope you already made resolutions for the upcoming year, and wishing you successful and prosperous 2008. You worked hard all year long and deserve to take a break, so turn off computer and go out – enjoy the life.

 Ok, I ditched my digg site to illustrate a very important point. Old Taggos site was already deeply indexed by Google, was receiving decent traffic and had a good number of backlinks to it. Google is very upset now, since I destroyed old Taggos index [in Google], and invalidated a bunch of links.
