2 Best Web Hosting Companies

webhosting.gif Sooner or later, if you really want to get your own online business going, you’d have to sign up for web hosting. There are 20+ web hosting companies around and it’s easy to get confused which web hosting plan to choose. Over the years, I tried 10+ companies and ended up using 2 only. Criteria I used to evaluate services from different companies are:

  • Inexpensive, but reliable service
  • 24/7 customer support that can solve emergency issues fast, help with script installation and so on
  • Large disk space and bandwidth (helps a lot when traffic to your blog increases)
  • 95%+ uptime, meaning you site or blog will not go down every hour and become inaccessible
  • CPanel administration of a site with Fantastico (easy script installer, includes wordpress blog script)
  • Allow multiple domains and subdomains in one account
  • PHP and mySQL databases
  • Easy upgrade to the next level of hosting when required

If some of the things above sounds too technical, don’t worry about them – you’ll learn as you go. However, to get you started fast with reliable Web Hosting, here are my recommendations:

Explore both of them and I am sure you’ll be satisfied with either choice.

It is indeed an honest opinion on curret web hosting offer, there are too many bulk hosting plan offer that is way out of a realistic usage leading to lower quality and less reliability among webmasters.

thanks foong. I lost a lot of time with unreliable web hosting and poor technical support, and would like my readers to spend time building their businesses instead of dealing with hosting problems.
