There are several ways you can start online business as an affiliate (or promoting your own product) with zero expenses. Think what market niche you want to promote to, for example, dog training. Join affiliate networks such as Clickbank or Amazon Associates, and find products to sell. Ok, you should be set with market and products.

It is very important to look for affiliate programs that give you supporting materials like articles on a subject, keywords and banners.  You don’t want to start from a scratch and write your own articles, unless you are a subject expert and do want to write them.  Next step is to modify articles and make sure to have targeted keywords and YOUR affiliate link in an article. Affiliate link will be given to you when you join an affiliate program. For Clickbank, it’ll look like “yourid.publisherid.hop.clickbank.net”.

Now, 3 ways to start online business and don’t pay a cent for it:

• Article marketing – I suggest to start with ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com, create account on both sites and submit articles with your affiliate links.
• Forum marketing – find active forum in your niche, sign up and participate in discussions. Don’t jump with product offerings right away, establish yourself first and then suggest a product.
• Social networks marketing – two networks I recommend are Squidoo and Hubpages. Both allow publishing materials with affiliate links; they are easy to sign up with and use.

Let’s recoup.

• Determine a niche you are interested in, sign up for affiliate programs and get your links ready.
• Modify articles (or write your own), insert affiliate links into articles, sign up at ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com and publish your articles.
• Sign up with a forum in your niche and start participating.
• Sign up with Squidoo and Hubpages, learn how to use them and start publishing your affiliate materials.
